The First Flight
High School Marching Nighthawks have been invited to
participate in halftime activities at the
Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on January 4!
Band members are very excited to represent the Outer
Banks in Louisiana but before they can go,
they have to raise money to pay for their travel, rooms,
meals and other expenses.
All summer and fall, band members and their parents have
worked long and hard holding bake sales, car washes,
pig pickings, and selling products in front of grocery
stores, TW's Bait Shop, Real Estate offices, etc. and
...
THEY ARE ALMOST THERE!!!
They have raised about $80,000 and are very close to
reaching their goal of $85,000!
